Legal
Terms of
Service
Effective date: 15 May 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Conflict Watch intelligence platform, operated by Conflict Watch ("we", "us", "our"). By requesting access or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are accessing the platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
1. Subscription and access
Access to Conflict Watch is by invitation only and subject to a paid subscription. Each subscription is a single-seat licence and may not be shared, transferred, or used concurrently by more than one individual without a separately licensed seat.
Subscriptions are billed annually and renew automatically unless cancelled in writing prior to the renewal date. We will notify you of the upcoming renewal no fewer than 30 days in advance.
We reserve the right to decline or terminate access at our discretion, including if we determine that a subscriber's use of the platform is inconsistent with these Terms.
2. Permitted use
You may access and use Conflict Watch content for your own internal business purposes. You may share brief summaries or short quotations internally within your organisation, with attribution to Conflict Watch.
You may not: republish, redistribute, resell, or sublicense Conflict Watch content; use automated tools to scrape or extract content from the platform; share login credentials with any other person; or create derivative works based on Conflict Watch analysis for redistribution.
3. Not financial or legal advice
Conflict Watch provides geopolitical intelligence and operational risk assessment. Nothing in our content constitutes financial advice, legal advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, commodity, or financial instrument.
All assessments represent our editorial judgement at the time of publication and may be revised as new information becomes available. Past assessments do not guarantee the accuracy of future assessments.
4. Intellectual property
All content published on the Conflict Watch platform — including intelligence briefs, situation assessments, thread updates, and analytical commentary — is the intellectual property of Conflict Watch and protected by applicable copyright law.
Your subscription does not transfer any ownership of or licence to this intellectual property beyond the personal, non-commercial, single-seat access rights described in these Terms.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Conflict Watch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on our content, including damages for loss of profits, business decisions made in reliance on our assessments, or missed events or developments.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
6. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
